Anyone have any experience with Turkish Angora cats?

I’m not usually a cat-person whatsoever, but am looking to get a cat that has more of a dog-like temperament (loyal, follows you around, isn’t so aloof like other cats) and heard of the Turkish Angoras. It is such a beautiful breed, and although they appear very fragile and dainty, I was thinking that they were more sociable and less aloof than other cats after watching Cats 101 on animal planet. Anyway, is this true for the breed?

Turkish angora cats are like dogs in the way that they like to be with you and help you with whatever you are doing! However you would be very unlikely to find a dog balanced on top of the door or on top of the kitchen cupboards or sitting on your shoulders ! I live with three of them
