How do I determine which dog food is best for my Golden Retriever?

Although we just got her, she is almost 10 months old. Growing up we fed our Golden Iams….and I just don’t know what to pick. She has been itching a lot lately and it is not fleas, so I’m assuming she has a skin allergy?

You want to look for a food with a named meat product in the first 3 ingredients, not simply “meat” but “chicken” or “turkey” or “beef”. Try to avoid foods with wheat gluten, corn, or by-products.
