Dog breed HELP……?

I have been doing searches for the right breed of dog for my family. I have a 3 1/2 year old (only child) and myself live in my apartment. I have done so many breed selector questionnaires all research on different dog breeds and can’t kind one that works well for us. Every dog breed selector gives me a different breed as best choice. So…. I am now asking the yahoo answer members for help, this is what I need:

X2 for the Boston Terrier. I had two when I was a kid. They’re great companion dogs for older people, but they’re also energetic enough to play with your kid all day. The only problem is some need hip replacements when they get older.

If you decide to go with a Boston Terrier, make sure you get the info on his parents, so you can see if that might be a problem later on.

Another breed I would recommend would be a Beagle. They are really smart, and can be trained easily, because they were originally bred for hunting.

Pretty much any dog is going to be fine for you and your kids, as long as it’s raised right. I have a 75lb. Pitt Bull, and he thinks he’s a lap dog. It’s not cool to wake up in the middle of the night with dead legs, cuz he’s laying on them lol.
