What is the best breed of dog that kids should have?

I need a dog that is small, non barking, and good with kids. Anny suggestions?

I would definitely try your local shelter. Nonbarking is going to be a hard characteristic to find, but I’m guessing the good with kids part is what really matters. There are some lovely dogs who sadly end up in shelters and if you go and explain what you’re looking for to the Shelter workers, they may have the perfect dog or maybe they can keep an eye out for it. If you’re just looking for a great family pet and don’t care about the pedigree, a mixed breed may be ideal for you.
