Are english mastiffs a bigger breed of pug?

Okay so I was looking on google images and I was looking at pugs and then I saw a tagged picture with this HUGE dog and it said “oversized pug” turns out the breed is called English Mastiffs.
They look identical to the Pug except bigger. Are they in anyway related?

Mastiffs are a breed unto themselves.

Pugs are not related in anyway with a mastiff. Pugs were once called dutch mastiff only because they have the same wrinkley head and coloring.
