Should my dog be experiencing side effects from immunizations and parasite treatments after 2 days?

I just adopted a boxer from an animal rescue. He was a runaway and came with no background health info, and is also extremely emaciated (you can count vertebre & ribs). Now he is sick with vomiting and diarhea, and I don’t know whether it’s the medicine, change in diet, stress from the change, or an illness.Any ideas?

I am sure its from all them to be honest. Did the vet tell you how much to feed the dog ? If he is that skinny you dont want to feed him to much at a time or drink to much at a time. You need to slowly start feeding him and when he does good with that portion go a little higher with the food. I would say between the shots, and him being so skinny that is why he is vomiting and diarhea.

I would just call your vet just to be on the safe side and ask them about what kind of portions you should be feeding him.

That was very kind of you to take a dog like that , not many people would.
