iam just getting a new dog what breed do u think i should get that will be my first time to own a dog??

iam getting a new dog i know alot of dogs and how to treat them but i have never really owned one aniways i would like your advice which dog breed should i get but i dont want a toy dog… iam a boy tooo!!

First of all, are you ready for the commitment it takes to bring a dog into your life? Second, what kind of activity level do you think you’d be able to handle? Some dogs need a lot of extra stimulation. Where will you be keeping this dog? House, apartment, fenced yard? Do you have time to train this dog yourself? Are you looking for a puppy or adult dog? Can you afford to take care of a dog ie vet bills, food, misc supplies… I would recommend answering all of these questions and then go to your local animal shelter.
