What dog foods are best for a large breed dog that has allergies to dyes put in food?

The only brand I have found is Pedigree for puppies and the cheap generic brands in stores and she hates those. She’s not a puppy anymore so is it ok to keep feeding her the puppy brand or is there another brand out there that contains no dye?

You can feed your adult dog puppy food but from what I understand puppy food has A LOT more calories. So take that into consideration when thinking about the dogs exercise level and current weight situation.

I know someone that has a dog that is allergic to a lot of the stuff in pet foods. He has had luck with Diamond brand Lamb and Rice dog food. It is MUCH cheaper than Iams or like brands. If that doesn’t work you could go to your vet. I had to feed my dog Prescription brand food after she came home from the vet hospital. It’s more expensive but in her case it kept her alive.
