My ten year old mixed breed dog mated recently arnd fag end of heat period. Will she get preg? Is it safe?

We would like to have her puppies if it is safe for her. She is 26kgs, quite active. Her routine check up consisting of ECG, Blood Test & X ray were absolutely normal in November 2008. Am concerned about her well being, please share if anybody has had a similar experience with their dog?

No it is NOT safe! That is way too old for a dog to have ANY litter, much less her first litter. At this point…no, really around the 4-5 year point, a dog’s pelvic structure is set. It can no longer easily accomodate for the changes neccessary for safely carrying and delivering a litter.

This is information you should have researched BEFORE you allowed her to be bred. You clearly have no clue what you are doing and because of that, you have seriously jeopardized the live of your female.

Your best option, given the fact that she’s too old and you are too inexperienced, is to have her spayed ASAP. See if you can manage to do what is in HER best interest rather than trying to think of only what YOU want and fulfilling your own selfish desires.
