how to present a puppy on christmas?

Hi, I’m giving my brother a puppy for christmas and am trying to think of creative/cute/fun ways to present it to him. i’ve already heard the stocking idea, and the wrapped present with holes idea. anything else? thanks! happy holidays!

ALSO.. *PLEASE NO* responses like “bad idea” “do you know what you’re getting into” etcetera, there has been lots of planning for this puppy for a long time. we had a loving dog for 13 years who recently passed away, and our family is fully prepared and ready for a new one. we know the breed well, and i have already selected and purchased the puppy that will fit in with our family just perfectly :) (so don’t waste your breath!)

The best way to present the puppy would be in the form of a stuffed dog, in a crate with a gift certificate saying he gets to pick the puppy of his choice, etc. Giving a live pet around the holidays is usually very tramatic for the new pet. All the excitment, strange people, etc. is too much for a new pet in the house. It doesn’t give him the time to settle in and calmly explore his new surroundings. Just a suggestion.
