Dog Breed Christmas Stocking
how to present a puppy on christmas?
Hi, I’m giving my brother a puppy for christmas and am trying to think of creative/cute/fun ways to present it to him. i’ve already heard the stocking idea, and the wrapped present with holes idea. anything else? thanks! happy holidays!
ALSO.. *PLEASE NO* responses like “bad idea” “do you know what you’re getting into” etcetera, there has been lots of planning for this puppy for a long time. we had a loving dog for 13 years who recently passed away, and our family is fully prepared and ready for a new one. we know the breed well, and i have already selected and purchased the puppy that will fit in with our family just perfectly 
(so don’t waste your breath!)
The best way to present the puppy would be in the form of a stuffed dog, in a crate with a gift certificate saying he gets to pick the puppy of his choice, etc. Giving a live pet around the holidays is usually very tramatic for the new pet. All the excitment, strange people, etc. is too much for a new pet in the house. It doesn’t give him the time to settle in and calmly explore his new surroundings. Just a suggestion.
