Our 175lb English Mastiff is lonely. What would be the best breed of dog to look at as a companion?

Birdie is a gentle giant. She is more social than alot of the people I know. We hate that she is alone all day. What would be a good breed of dog to look at as a companion for her?

i would suggest a big breed of dog if she can get rough when she is playing.but if her way of playing with other dogs is just things like nudging them around a smaller breed of dog would be great too.if you do get a dog adopt one please and if you get another adult get a male two females usually fight and if you get a small dog don’t get a super small one like a weenier dog or a welsh corgi your mastiff can step one them and break their backs or something else but its up to you!p.s. my e-mail is grizzlygirl89@yahoo.com
