poly / cotton blend an abomination before God?

I was reading my Bible and read Leviticus 19:19: Ye shall keep my statutes. You must not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou not sow your land with mixed seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and wool come upon you. Leviticus is often used to show homosexuality as a sin, so we take this very seriously. From my best interpretation is to mix different types of fabric is a sin. It is also argued here that the breeding of two different types of an animal is acting against God – do not include the mules, dogs and different breeds of cats, ligers, etc? I am of the belief that a person can not and must choose which messages they want to follow God, the spirit and letter of God's intention must be followed in order to live a clean life. I'm not sure what to do. I'm wearing leather shoes with cotton cords and I am worried that I am disobeying God's wishes as directly stated in the Bible. Please help: (

That's right. You're going to hell.

Waterproof to Sew a hotdog

Make a warm waterproof coat for your dog is very simple and means that you and your dog can exercise more during the winter.

Fabrics Notions and appropriate

For the web, you want two layers. An outer layer waterproof fabric (or fabric that can be made waterproof), and a warm layer next to your skin.

Suitable for fabric pad including Gore-Tex outdoor, nylon and canvas. For the inner layer of sheep's wool into account, wool or synthetic polar. Quantity fabric you need depends on the size of your dog (see the next section to calculate the amount of fabric required).

We will also need to attach Velcro shield on the neck and stomach. Try to get at least 2 inches wide (or 5 cm) of Velcro. This layer needs 2 x 4 "pieces (or 2 x 10 cm) pieces of Velcro. If you have a small dog, 4" is excessive – at your discretion.

Last point we need is heavy cotton webbing law (which turns in on the inner and outer layers and sutured in place). Again, the amount required depends the size of your dog.

How much to buy fabric

We need 3 measurements of your dog. First measure the length of your dog's neck base (near where you feel your neck) to just beyond the tail (the layer you want to extend a little beyond the tail).

Then measure the width measured from midway between the knee and hip dog on the rump, the same place on the other side.

Now we have neck compensatory measure to measure from shoulder to shoulder half half allowing the band to bend a little as if it were a bra in a dog shelter.

The amount of tissue which you need to buy more than half the length of the measurement of the width of the neck, if the length of your dog is 22.5 "and width is 23.5" and neck is 16 "you need for the lining and exterior measures 30.5" 23.5 ".

The number of tapes required is the length x width + 2 x 2 x 4 colors. So on my dog will need 45 "plus 47" plus 64, a total of 156 "or" 13.

(Note Special: – allowance for additional neck straps x 4 is for the strap that goes under the layer to the size of your dog. An allowance of double-neck cover Most dogs, however, if your dog or breed of dog is especially thick at the waist, it is possible you have more fabric and straps).

A Ask your employer

Now, draw your design.

Place two pieces of fabric place against place, waterproof fabric on the top (top). First, draw a square that is the width of a hand, and neck length and one half on the other side. (See diagram here www.sewing4dummies.com/dogcoat.html ). It is possible you want on the fast lane in this line to hold the two pieces of fabric.

Now mark the place where the extent of its length is exactly halfway across the width (see diagram above).

Using tailor's chalk, making each of its edges, and stress One for the neck of your dog. The width of two main parts that go around the neck of your dog must be at least 2.5 "(for Velcro) but may be higher if you have a large dog.

Pin and cut.

Now, using the spare left in the scoop neck, draw another rectangle at least 2.5 "wide (for Velcro closures), but may be more great if you have a large dog, and the extent of long neck. This is for the setting that fits the size of your dog.

Makeup

Before starting to sew, it's a good idea to check the layer in the dog. Simply place a piece on your dog to see if the reduction of the neck is enough or too much – check the degree of overlap for the neck. Also check that the closure of the belt, when you are connected, will be adjusted around your dog.

In addition, as the fabric you use, you may need to share on your machine needle Sewing for greater construction, since these tissues may be very difficult to penetrate. Test on a small piece of fabric first.

Now we are ready to sew. Turn around the dog's coat pieces so they are on the right side of. On one side, cotton straps pine trees around the entire outer edge of the dog's coat, be sure it is regularly spaced. Stitch in place.

Do the same with the locking of the belt. Now, the sewing room in size, closing the dog's coat to a point that is comfortable for your dog.

Now we must put the pieces of Velcro at the neck, waist closure and side. Remember that room should be sewn on the outside and one inside to ensure proper closure. Pop your dog's coat to check the best place to put your Velcro.

Stitch in place, and that's all.

Popularity crate training?

I'm in the UK, have raised many dogs puppyhood, and come from a long playing time family shows. I'd say about 75% of dog owners in the population of the United Kingdom and perhaps more than 90% of non-dog owners, I do not know what crate training "means. I've never met a dog owner British dogs trained body. However, from the contact with U.S. ranchers, opinions and information in AKC and help pages, I feel that the packaging is by far the method The most common fracture and training used in the United States. Some people who show dogs used here in a drawer – but only on condition that their dogs Travel, not be part of the overall structure of training and socialization. From what I saw, the packaging is not common in continental Europe either. Just for interest, does anyone have any idea why crate training is so popular and routine in the United States, but not here?

I think part of it has to do with the mentality for dogs in Europe. I can travel to Europe at least once a month (or more) and dogs are welcome everywhere – stores, malls, demons can not visit a restaurant in Italy or Germany without seeing a dog. In the U.S., may lead to pet stores and pet it all. I see a lot of questions about people in the United Kingdom the use of a kennel (no drawers called there), then this may be increasingly popular.
