Dog Breed Novelties
Teacup Maltese needs a home?
Ok, I know so called ‘teacup’ dogs are actually runts of the litter. I know that anyone who sells them as a novelty and at a high price is a bad inexperienced breeder, or just wants to make a few quick bucks.
So here’s the problem, my neighbor has a maltese. She should have been spayed but none of my protests were heard. She had a litter and the pups are now 8 weeks old. One of them is a ‘teacup’ pup (obviously due to bad breeding). My neighbor took all the pups to the vet, who really shouted at her for breeding a dog, but said that the teacup was in surprisingly good health. All the pups have been adopted apart from the teacup. He, (my neighbor), wants to get rid of the pup in the pound. But I can’t bear seeing his carelessness lead to the ruination of that little fellow’s life. Who knows if he’ll be adopted?
Shall I take the maltese in? I already have a lab. But he’s very good with other dogs. If I shouldn’t take him in, what shall I do?
you should take the maltese in, give him a great home and alot of love.
If you cant take him in try and find a friend that would take him, but right now you should get him away from the “breeder”
