What breed is my dog?!!?

We got our gorgeous boy, who we’ve named Fender, from a rescue centre. They he’s pure show bred Springer but i’m not convinced and a few people have asked me what he’s crossed with. It’s the low set ears, droopy eyes and chunky snout that make everyone wonder.
My other (working bred) Springer, Hendrix, is sooooo different too. I know in there is a big difference between show and working Springers but i’m not convinced Fender is pure – what do you think???

I should add – we were told he was an ENGLISH Springer, will have a look at some pics of American ones though – thanks!

Yes, he looks pure to me and gorgeous. The fact that his color and spotting is different may be what is throwing you off.

You also said he was from show lines? This means (assuming this was true) he wont be as heavily boned/built as the regular field spaniel.
