Found a stray dog who has a $2,000 bill. Any groups out there that can help me pay for the rescued dog?

It’s a pure breed pomeranian who was dumped on the side of the road due to her legs. The hind joints are not locking into place. I would like to know if there are any groups out there that can help me pay for her surgery? The bill is going to be greater than $2,000.

Go to this site, and put in your own zip code. then contact any and all shelters in your area. Some of them have programs that will allow you to turn the dogs over to them (on paper) but you keep the dog as its foster care home. These shelters often have sponsors for dogs in need, and receive discounts for medical care..If the first one doesn’t have such a program keep calling the others.

If you can't get help from those rescues, then try for the Care Credit card.. It is no-interest card to be used for veterinary care, and it allows up to 18 months to repay.. all of the vets in my state accept this card..
