Is the dog breed of the American staffordshire terrier have a charachtoristic of being agresive like a pittbul?

They have similarity, but do they have a tendency to snap or become aggressive like a pittbull. I want to adopt a girl staffordshire terrier pit bull mix. she is mediam size. and also I have a small pekingese a girl too their both young, will they get along. thepitt mix is 9 months and my peke ia 1 year.

The APBT and the AST have very similar temperaments of course every dog will be different.
They can be dog aggressive as they come from a dog fighting back ground.

Neither dog have a tendency to snap….

I would see if you can bring your pekingese to meet the other dog and see if they get along.
