is having a white tipped tail a characteristic of any specific breed of dog?

i have what the shelter told me was a husky shepherd mix…different people have told me they see rotweiller in them and others have told me they see malamute. he has at the tip of his tail white fur..is that a trait of any other breed? my vet has no idea what he is.
the reason i would like to know is so i can learn more about my dog and possible ilnesses and/or diseases he may prone to. don’t answer if all youre gonna be is snotty
