All of these dogs are completely different. If you are able to be a “pack leader” and handle a large breed dog, my first choice out of the dogs you have listed would be the Bernese Mountain dog. I like my dogs to have the ability to protect my home and I also prefer bigger dogs. I am also pretty active with my dogs and the Bernese is a working dog that is always looking for a job to do. I also love Bulldogs, but they have more health problems then almost any other breed of dog. I would not get one for this reason. It is just too much heart ache for me to have to deal with my dog having health problems and a lifespan of around 8 years at best. That would keep my from buying the bulldog even though I love the breed. Go for the Bernese Mountain Dog.
