I wondered who are the ancestors of the Shih Tzu. Like all other breeds of dogs, shih tzu ancestors most likely come from five options: Gray Wolf, Golden Jackal, Coyote, African Wild Dog. It's hard to imagine our little shih tzu dolls have any of these wild characters at the bottom. According to investigators, all dogs have their roots in one of these five categories. I do not think I could be in love with a wolf meat and bone or a coyote. A coyote's strange sounds "howling". I have some shih tzu with a sound rather than a howl of bark.

Out of the five groups, wolves and dogs share 71 of the 90 patterns Traceroute behavior, more than any other two species of canine. My thought is then probably most of the races as we know them today have the wolf as their ancestor. The fact that the Shih Tzu has ancestors of the family of wolves, however, does not love me at all. I can not imagine sharing my bed with a real wolf. The faces are so sweet and innocent shih tzu. What people will do it for the love of dogs is estounding. It is a bond that sometimes transcends even the bond between people humans.
