English Setter Dog Breed Profile

This hunting dog makes a wonderful pet to be calm in the house who require daily exercise. She will have a yard for it to run in this place and bring a walk, but he is great with children and has a sweet personality. The race dates back to 16th century France where it was developed from the French and Spanish pointer Pointer for hunting. In 1800 Sir Edward Laverack further develop the breed of dog we know today.

The regulator of English is a medium sized dog thin that it can be between 23 and 27 inches tall and weighing between 45 and 80 pounds. He has a medium length coat that is white and has the distinction of being interesting speckled with different points in size. His hair is slightly wavy and medium length ears high pointy tail and back legs are fringed hair. He has a head long, pronounced stop with a square muzzle and large eyes and bright hazel color. Their fur is white and stains can be orange, brown or blue.

Grooming the English Setter is not overly difficult, but necessary medium length coat brushing daily. This race is just an average shedder and should not bathe frequently.
