Dog Breeds Medium Dogs

Here is a simple and easy guide to choosing a dog. These are some things you should consider when choosing your puppy or adult dog to ensure you choose a best friend for life.
Purebred, crosses or Mixed-Breed
A pedigree dog is a dog whose parents are of the same race. Humans create pure dogs race through selective breeding – inbreeding. Purebred dogs did not exist before humans manufactured them – a dog would simply breed with any another dog you chose, so there is no "pure race", only a race of mixed breed dogs. The advantage of choosing a purebred dog is that you can pinpoint size, shape and personality. For example, if you had to choose a poodle would know with certainty what it will look when you get older, their size approximate, to be intelligent and easy to train, and seldom shed hair.
A hybrid is the son of two different breed dogs. Crosses are also known as designer or hybrid dogs. For example, if you cross a Labrador and a Poodle, you get what is known as a "Labradoodle".
A mixture of races is the result of two dogs that join randomly. Also known as mongrel, random-bred, or mutt. For example, a mixture of race is the result if a pure race, as a poodle, and a cross, like a Labradoodle mating.
Puppy or adult
You can choose between a puppy or adult dog. A puppy is a page blank ready to be written. How do you find it is half you and half to their genetics. With puppies, you do not know exactly how they will be fine – up they become adults. Thus, one advantage of choosing an adult dog from a shelter is that you already know what you're going to get. If you choose a puppy, you will go from 8 to 12 weeks old – the time you're willing to leave his mother – also the time that is very cute! You will need to be socialized. This means stop spending time with other dogs and pets and people. It will need some basic obedience training Learning commands such as sit, stay, out, down and come. Also must be tamed so that does not eliminate inside. If you choose an adult dog, on the other hand, you can choose one that has been domesticated and had some obedience training.
Boy or Girl
Male dogs are more dominant and aggressive with other dogs. Also urine mark their territory. Beyond that, men and female dogs are generally very similar in their behavior.
Small, Medium, Large or X-Large
Small dogs are much cheaper to keep and maintain. The cost of feeding a large or giant dog can be double or triple the price of feeding a small dog. Large dogs also become larger and Poos, wees. Small dogs live longer than larger dogs. The average life of a small Yorkshire Terrier is around 14. Whereas the average lifespan of a giant Bullmastiff dog is around 9 years. Small breeds also reach their size much faster that large breed dogs. A breed of small range which is full size in about 5 months, while a giant breed will take about 18 months to reach to full size.
