What makes the dog breed the best return?

We had to take our cocker spaniel, and my wife wants another dog soft on that size. Nothing really small, but just under 20 pounds I guess.

shi tzu are larger than small family dogs. They are the size you want, and has great provisions. Not Yappy, and have beautiful hair. Yes, Shi Tzu have hair, not fur. My friend races, and I must say if I do not love my yorkie / Maltese more than life, I would one Shi Tzu. The reason why I do not suggest a Yorkie / Maltese is that he did not want a very small dog.
