What website is good for finding a dog breed?

What website can you take a quiz to help you find the perfect dog breed for your family? My family is thinking about getting a dog and don’t know what kind. HELP?!?!?! also if it could tell you how much they cost that would help to!!! Thanx!!!

I think the Iams and Eukanuba sites (since they are essentially the same site) may indicate “availability” rather than price. However, widely available dogs will generally be less expensive than less availabile dogs. Ex. a Lab will run you less than an English Bulldog. Part of why Bulldogs are so $$$$ is that they generally have to be delivered by c-section b/c their heads are so big.

For more specifics on prices, check your local classified ads or do some web searches for breeders (many have websites). If you go to the American Kennel Club website (akc.org) they have a “Breeder Classifieds” section where you can search by breed and narrow down to your state or even your zip code and see who has pups for sale and how much they are charging.
