german guard dog commands
German shepherd pup troubles..?

I have a german shepherd puppy she’s about 2 months old, (we just got her) and she’s REALLY active, hyper you can say, and I try to teach her to sit and I have the treat in my hand but she won’t even pay attention to it to listen. She also bites! My hand, arm, my feet when I walk around. I know it’s important to teach obedience from a young age with these dogs. Does anyone have any good tips? I want her to be well trained.

Also, I don’t want to get a trainer because I’m in Japan…
and I would like for the pup to know commands in english.

I want to add, that I DO want my GS to be trained to be a guard dog, so if I am being attacked she only attacks the other person or whatever it may be on my command. I just want her to NOT bite her owners,

Honey, I don’t think there is a person in the world that can tell you how to get your dog to do this except a professional trainer. She does need to be trained , especially if she is that hyper. You could start by taking her to a good obedience class to get her to calm down and do some simple commands. But since you are in Japan, I would check to see where there may be places that can teach you in English. Good luck to you
