Some doggie diapers/pup pants that can’t be penetrated by male dogs?

I can’t get my 7-month-old Bichon/Mini poodle mix female spayed because it’s riskier to do it when she’s in heat. The vet told us we should wait a month (4 weeks) and then bring her to be spayed, but until then we have to guard her from male rovers. My neighborhood often has loose control over their dogs; there are 4+ male dogs that often get out of their houses and other male dogs that are taken outside off the leash for bathroom breaks. The vet said there’s such a thing as a doggie diaper that a male dog can’t penetrate. What kinds of doggie diapers are best and can I just snip a tailhole in a regular baby diaper or some panties and stick it on my dog to keep her pregnancy-free? I keep a good watch on her but I know that there are small/thin dogs that slip through the fence and other dogs found out how to push past the gate.

Your vet is very mistaken if he did in fact tell you that there are doggie diapers/pants that can’t be penetrated by a male because nothing could be farther from the truth…There are NONE!!.
The only safe way to keep males away from your female is to make sure she is on leash when outside and is NEVER unsupervised in any area where there may be male dogs.
