I am looking at purchasing English Bulldog puppies, not of the puppy mill variety. This dog has to be within driving distance of the Lansing area [Michigan]. Funding is also an issue; price must be within reason.
Can anyone suggest a local breeder, kennel, or animal rescue that could help me with this?

They often have to be artificially inseminated and almost always need a Cesarean. Add to that screening for genetic disorders you are going to have to pay big bucks for a healthy pup.

You can try contacting some local rescues and let them know you want an English bulldog, but if they get one in, it might not be a purebred. It probably wouldn’t be a puppy. You may just have to wait and save up some money.
